Meet Pinky the Bear, a soft and lovable hand-knit organic wool baby toy made for cuddles, comfort, and everyday play.
Each bear is carefully handcrafted by artisans in a women’s cooperative in Kenya using 100% organic, natural wool fibers. The yarn is dyed with locally sourced eco-friendly dyes, or AZO-free, cadmium-free, non-toxic dyes to ensure it is safe for babies and toddlers.
Our organic wool knit toys are washed at the workshop to set the dyes and prevent shrinkage, creating a safe, heirloom-quality baby companion perfect for snuggling, playtime, and gifting.
Made with sustainably sourced Kenyan wool and certified organic cotton, Pinky the Bear supports local farmers, skilled artisans, and environmentally responsible production.

About the Knitters:
The primary purpose of Kenana Knitters is to support women in the local community, by directly providing them with a source of income, thus enabling them to improve the quality of their own lives as well as those of their extended families. Kenana Knitters is dedicated to supporting the local community by empowering over 300 rural Kenyan women to knit a brighter future for themselves and their families.
